Back in the mid 80’s, while in high school, I worked as a lifeguard at a large aquatics complex. If you showed interest in pool operations and maintenance, the boss was happy to let you help out. Public pools are held to a very high standard and are inspected four times a year. I quickly gained large amounts of knowledge on every aspect of pool operations and maintenance. I could track chemicals and adjust as needed, I could maintain proper circulation through filter cleaning and backwashing. When it came time for chemistry class in high school I already knew half the content and could relate the classes to the testing and balancing I was doing at work.

I worked my way up to Director of Aquatics at that same facility and after 25 years of service and experience, I gave my notice and started my own business. For the last six years I’ve been on the private side of aquatics. I’ve maintained and operated everything from Luxury Highrise Condominium Associations, to vacation rental hot tubs, to private residential pools and spas. 

With over 30 years of experience in the aquatic industry, operating and maintaining every type of water feature imaginable, I can keep your pool, spa, or water feature clean and operating as efficiently as possible. I’m a true expert at water chemistry and preventative maintenance. I’m so passionate about the quality of my work, health department inspectors would bring hotel owners to me to show them how to properly run their pools and learn how to keep their pools crystal clear.
